In my mind I'm imagining it getting up and laying down just like a camel or goat now, thanks to those great knee and elbow scabs. :)

He is the largest in the family. Yes, with the Moropus in one subfamily, but have a closer relatives to Phillotyllon.

Author of describing wrote that when the animal get up on its hind legs and pulled. It plucked branches at a height of 5 meters. That is, on four legs, it could be about 2,3 or even 2.5 m in the shoulders.

Oh, there's a lot of interesting animals that are not known to the general public =) For example, few people know that the first saber-toothed hunters were not the Creodonts.
